A Bench in Soho Square

Page 6: Toasting Kirsty

After the Ceremony of the Bench, a goodly number of Kirsty fans repaired to a nearby hostelry (accompanied by her friends and family) for an informal celebration party. In the words of the very fine singer Neko Case, Kirsty had "someone singing my life back to me". Click on the pub at the foot of the page to sample the extraordinary ambience with a specially recorded medley from the cheap seats ! (requires Real Audio and a strong constitution). Here is a photo album to commemorate the occasion. 

There has since been a Kirsty Birthday Reunion meeting in the same pub, the Pillars of Hercules in Greek Street) on Sunday 14th October 2001. Check out the photos from bench and in the pub.
