The Stiff Singles Collection

This is a Japanese release, fundamentally a CD version of the download only Stiff collection of the previous year, replacing the 12" remix of Terry with a supposedly "unreleased" extended version of He's on the beach.

Craigie says "the unreleased version of HOTB is the boring extended version on the caroline CD single and not an unreleased version (unless it is unreleased in japan lol where the cd's from)" which seems to sum it up nicely.

He adds however, "the remastered songs sound absolutely fab - it's been done with a new "K2HD coding CD" invented by JVC and the sound quality is amazing. Especially on Turn my motor on which normally sounds really "tinny" sounding to me. better than the remastering done on the FC2C anthology."

The CD is nicely packaged with a touched up version of the original picture disk of They don't know, and has a booklet with full lyrics in both English and Japanese which is a nice touch.
