Titanic Days (2 Disc Remastered Edition)

Note the classily revised slipcase artwork (the actual CD jacket is more similar to the original release. Having listened to this album for the first time in a decade I have revised my star ratings for the reissue. The whole album is simply immense, and Kirsty & Mark had every reason to be proud of it. It has a coherent sound and delivers its poisonous messages on a bitter sweet pill.

The reissue includes Can't stop killing you's Australian release only B sides Fabulous Garden and Touch Me, Caroline's B Side Irish Cousin, various mixes of Angel (Single, Piano, Stuart Crichton, Into The Light, Apollo 440 Remixes), the Solana Beach live versions of Miss Otis regrets and Free World, and the major gems - two previously unreleased demos from the era: the excellent King Kong (wonder who that was about) and a Holy Grail for Kirsty collectors, Kirsty's own original demo version of Dear John.
